I have finished the final count of all the ballots.

Note: All members who voted have paid their 2006 dues. Only one ballot per Lot was eligible to be counted. In the cases where 2 ballots were cast, one ballot was maintained and the other was destroyed. With only one exception, all of the dual ballots had identical votes. On the one lot where the 2 ballots did not match, the ballot with the most choices was kept. Many of the ballots did not have 9 choices checked.

Recommendation for next year's election: Allow about 2 minutes on the agenda just prior to the vote to clarify the names of the nominees from the floor and to present the instructions, i.e. only 1 vote per lot, vote up to 9, etc. Also, include a proxy sheet in the newsletter in addition to on-line, and include instructions on how to utilize the proxy.
