Our Crime Watch & Board meeting at
the Aquatic center did not get much of attendance!
6 persons showed up from the
community!!
Monroe Co's Sheriff Officers were
great!
David Lindeman was great! He really
worked hard on this crime watch project! David videoed the meeting, so I
will put some crime watch video on our website!!
Deputy LaVache was his usual entertaining self!!
We did not get a quorum, so the meeting was
unofficial! I will put together a status report on the
issues!!
- The New Ellis Aluminum gate is finished
- Rick Bilbrey should finish the gate motor installation this coming
week! (he has been sick!!)
- The proposed horizontal boards on dock are a much bigger job
than I thought. The boards are 18 feet long. They will need
vertical support. I am going to make a drawing of the proposed boat
ramp improvements and get a bid from Upper Keys Marine - Johnny
DeBrule
- Attached is a draft for the new proposed
PLRPOA Tournament Format! Please review and
comment!
Also, Stu Marr called complaining about fisherman hitting his boat
with sinkers again. I actually witnessed about 8 fisherman fishing
directly across for his boat and some were casting a close as possible to his
boat !! He said he would pay for a fence so that we can create a "no
fishing zone" ! I think we should seriously consider his offer and
figure out a design of a fence or something to prevent fishing in the area
directly across from his boat. At the very least "No fishing
signs" directly across from his boat.
