Tarpon Basin Chart - with Intercoastal Waterway !
No one wants the character of Tarpon Basin to change! A boat
ramp is not a sure thing if Monroe Co buys the property. Commission
Nelson said a visioning committee from the community would be formed
during a design phase to determine what would work.
If a boat ramp is to be built, maybe it would be for non-motorized
vessels only (i.e. canoes and kayaks)...
If anyone has
difficulty navigating Tarpon Basin with the Intercoastal
Waterway going right though the middle it, which is clearly marked
than maybe they should
not be running a boat.
