No one wants the character of Tarpon Basin
to change!
Tarpon Basins environment
should be protect to the maximum!
Most of, if not all of Tarpon Basin should
be a restricted NO WAKE – IDLE SPEED ONLY Zone.
Tarpon Basin’s Shallow areas should be
clearly marked.
Why hasn’t this been done by now, if the
opponents of a KL Community Center are so concerned about Tarpon Basin’s
environment.
Commission Nelson said a visioning
committee from the community would be formed during a design phase to
determine what would work on the site.
Large Vessels Anchored off?
A boat ramp is not a sure thing if Monroe
Co buys the property.
If a boat ramp is to be built, maybe it
would be for non-motorized vessels only (i.e. canoes and kayaks)...
A KL Community Center will be a better
neighbor than a busy commercial operation!
