This database was built for a major newspaper in the midwest.  

The entry screen below has numerous functions built into it;

Once the "workdate" is entered the "week#" and the "year" is filled in automatically.  

When the user enters the "crew#" the "shift" and "regularsup" is filled in automatically.

The "dayofweek" is also filled in automatically when the "issuedate" is entered.

The following fields are calculated "downtime", "cphours", "tcopies", and "wastepct"

The "Stops" subform captures the data on the press stops and its related "equip#".
